ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene on Sunday said she was sorry for taking part in “toxic politics” as her feud with President Donald Trump continues over the Epstein files.
The U.S. House of Representatives is set to vote in the coming days on the release of files related to the investigation into disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein.
The issue has created a rift between Trump and some of his strongest supporters, including Greene. The president has in recent days been trying to stop Republicans in the House from voting to release files involving the Epstein case.
On Sunday night, however, Trump said House Republicans should vote to release the files, writing in a social media post that “...we have nothing to hide, and it’s time to move on from this
