WILTON, CT (WFSB) - A disagreement over the wearing of seat belts led to a man’s arrest, according to Wilton police.
The man was identified as 42-year-old Anmol Virk.
Police said that on Saturday, Virk and an Uber driver got into an argument over seat belts.
The driver said he picked up Virk and another passenger from a home in Wilton. He told police that he asked both passengers to buckle up multiple times.
However, Virk and the other passenger refused.
The driver said he pulled into the parking lot for Orem’s Diner and told the passengers to get out.
However, the passengers demanded that they be brought back to the home. Police said the driver refused.
The driver instead dialed 911, so officers were dispatched.
