The plan to expand and modernize critical-care services at the Brandon Regional Health Centre (BRHC) has received a major boost, thanks to a $115,000 contribution from the Brandon Area Community Foundation (BACF).
The donation, delivered through BACF’s community grants program, supports the BRHC Foundation’s A Foundation for Care capital campaign — the largest fundraising effort in the organization’s history — which is helping build a modern, fully equipped Critical Care Centre that includes a new Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The state-of-the-art facility is already under construction and expected to open in early 2026.
