WHITESTOWN, Ind. The Boone County Prosecutor's Office will hold a press conference Monday to provide an update on the investigation into the November 5th shooting that killed a cleaning crew member in Whitestown.

The press conference comes nearly two weeks after Maria Florinda Rios Perez de Velasquez, 32, of Indianapolis, was shot and killed by a homeowner in the Heritage subdivision. Police said Velasquez and her husband, who worked as a cleaning crew, mistakenly arrived at the wrong address for a job around 7 a.m. November 5.
According to investigators, the homeowner shot Velasquez through the front door without opening it. A bullet hole is visible in the door. Velasquez was found on the front porch suffering from a gunshot wound to the head and was pronounced dead at the
