NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - Pedestrians in downtown Nashville can now walk on the Ryman Auditorium’s iconic stained-glass windows after they were painted onto a road as a new colorful crosswalk.
The music venue collaborated with Nashville Downtown Partnership to bring the new crosswalk to the road outside of the Ryman Auditorium, near the corner of Rep. John Lewis Way S. and Broadway.
Artists got together near that intersection to create the “colorful work of art inspired by the Ryman’s historic green, yellow, red and blue windows, symbolizing the venue’s enduring place at the heart of Music City,” a Ryman press release said.
