Barcelona will finally return to the Camp Nou 910 days after first closing its doors for their LaLiga return this weekend.

The Catalans have not played a match at Spain's largest stadium since 2023, so a £1.3billion refurbishment of the venue could take place.

However, the club's project has been beset by delays , with last year's original completion date missed by a hefty margin .

Barcelona have now confirmed that their long-awaited return home will come with the visit of Athletic Bilbao on Saturday.

A licence has been approved for the Spanish giants to seat 45,401 fans following an open training session in front of 23,000 supporters .

It also guarantees Barca will be back at their famous home for the club's 126th anniversary against Alaves on November 29. No brainer! E
