The ongoing trade discussions between India and the United States are progressing steadily, with both sides working to resolve concerns related to reciprocal tariffs and market access, the Commerce Ministry said on Monday, November 17.
According to the ministry, India has agreed to the US suggestion of including a tranche of the Bilateral Trade Agreement (BTA) as part of the negotiations. Negotiating teams from both countries remain actively engaged, with any formal announcement expected “on a mutually agreed date,” the ministry added.
