After 41 years, a cherished farmers market is closing its doors in Apopka.
Maters & Taters Market & Creamery is a market that brings produce and Amish products directly from the farm.
In 1981, Marilyn and Sherman Boyer, the original founders of Mater & Tater, began their journey in Forest City. They later moved to Winter Park and eventually settled in Apopka.
Since then, the company has built a reputation for offering fresh vegetables and fruits, eggs, Amish groceries and baked goods.
On Nov. 1, the farmers' market announced that it would be shutting its doors in the next few weeks.
As they prepare to close, the company is offering discounts on most of its products. This content is imported from Facebook. You may be able to find the same content in another format, or you may be able t
