A Harpers Ferry woman has been charged with murdering a Jefferson man who was found in a vehicle with gunshot wounds, police said.

The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office said Melvin Todd Smith, 62, of Jefferson was found early Sunday in the driver's seat of a vehicle at a residence in the 600 block of Dey Drive near Harpers Ferry.
