Sensei Biotherapeutics Inc. is laying off most of its remaining workers as it begins the process to look for a sale, merger or some other deal.

The biotech said the layoffs would reduce its workforce by about 65%, which given Sensei reported 14 full-time employees and one part-time employee earlier this year, means only about five people will be left at the company.
