Jammu, Nov 17: Aimed at pilgrims’ safety, swift response towards any SoS call and secure pilgrimage of Shri Mata Vaishnoo Devi, the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (SMVDSB) Monday conducted a disaster preparedness review meeting at Katra.

The meeting was chaired by Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Board, Sachin Kumar Vaishya and was attended by SSP Reasi Paramvir Singh, other senior officers of Police and other government agencies dealing with disaster preparedness and response.

In this meeting, disaster preparedness was reviewed while security measures at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi shrine area were also examined minutely.
