A magisterial district judge on Monday dismissed the case against a Steelton Borough councilwoman who was accused of punching her boyfriend in September .
Magisterial District Judge David Judy dismissed the summary count of harassment by physical contact against Julianna Paioletti after she and the victim did not appear for the summary trial, which was set to begin at 9 a.m.
Without the man’s cooperation, police could not pursue the case against Paioletti from the Sept. 14 incident at her home, according to Steelton Borough Police Officer Kevin Martin, the arresting officer who was in court Monday.
