One man is dead and another is hospitalized after a shooting in south Phoenix late Saturday night, Phoenix Police said in a release Sunday.

Officers responded to the area of 38 th Avenue and Encanto Boulevard about 11 p.m. Nov. 15 regarding a shots fired call. When they arrived, they found two meneach with at least one gunshot wound, according to the release.
