HENDERSON, Ky. (WFIE) - A local market is thanking the Henderson Police Department for stopping an attempted robbery on Saturday.
In a Facebook Post, the Bodega Market Luncheria & Groceries said they were thankful for the fast response from HPD.
Officials at the market say, “We truly appreciate everything HPD does to protect our community.”
Henderson Police say 47-year-old Valdeze Hughes was arrested during the attempted robbery.
Hughes is currently in the Henderson County Jail charged with Robbery and Possession of Marijuana.
He is due in court Tuesday and currently has a $5,000 bond.
