CLINTON COUNTY — Two North Carolina women are facing charges for allegedly transporting 134 pounds of methamphetamine through Missouri.
A probable cause statement says Alma Ontiveros-Alvarado and Ma De Tornes-Herrera were stopped by a trooper in Clinton County Nov. 14.
The drugs were located during a search of the vehicle. In addition to drug trafficking both women are charged with child endangerment as a 12-year-old juvenile was also in the vehicle.
