MILLER COUNTY, Mo - Two people from Eldon were injured in a one-vehicle accident in Miller County last night.

The accident occurred just before 10:45 at the intersection of Gensert Road and Foote Lane Road. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol an SUV driven by a 19-year-old Eldon woman was southbound on Foote Lane Road. Her vehicle then began to skid across Gensert Road and struck a tree head-on.

She sustained only minor injuries, but her passenger, a 42-year-old Eldon man suffered serious injuries. Both were taken to Lake Regional Hospital for treatment.
