Two key pieces of the organization are staying in place for the foreseeable future.

Blue Bombers head coach Mike O’Shea and general manager Kyle Walters both agreed to three-year extensions, effective next season.

Both deals will run through the completion of the 2028 season. The club announced the deals on Monday.

O’Shea will be entering his 12th season with the club. He is the winningest coach in franchise history with a 117-77 win-loss record. O’Shea was hired in December 2013.

Prior to signing the extension, O’Shea was supposedly courted by the Toronto Argonauts for their vacant head coaching position after former sideline boss Ryan Dinwiddle departed for the Ottawa Redblacks to become their new head coach and general manager.
