LAFAYETTE COUNTY, Mo. (KCTV) - Missouri law enforcement officials are seeking the arrest of a man they say was involved in a deadly crash Friday but kept driving.
Jimmy Peavy, Jr., of Portland, Oregon, is accused of leaving the scene of a deadly accident, a felony charge.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol was made aware of the crash on Route PP at Panther Creek Road around 2:40 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 14.
When troopers arrived, they found a 68-year-old motorcyclist seriously injured and his passenger, a 62-year-old Concordia woman, dead.
After an investigation, troopers determined the motorcyclist had tried to pass a Subaru from behind as it started to make a left turn onto Panther Creek Road. His Honda motorcycle hit the driver’s side of the Subaru, then crashed off the left side of the
