A person was shot on Beacon Hill Friday morning and is being treated for life-threatening wounds, police said.
No one had been arrested as of noon, Officer Michael Torigian said.
“It is an active investigation,” he said.
At around 9:15 a.m., police responded to a report of a person shot at 39 Bowdoin St., a block south of the Blue Line MBTA station of the same name.
The victim was taken to a hospital with “life-threatening injuries,” Torigian said.
“Homicide detectives have been requested and responded to the scene,” he said.
