PHILADELPHIA (KTRE) - Former Groveton Indian Lane Johnson suffered a Lisfranc injury during the Philadelphia Eagles 16-9 win over the Detroit Lions on Sunday Night Football, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Schefter added that the injury is not expected to be season ending, but he could be headed to injured reserve.
Johnson exited the game in the first quarter and never returned. He missed most of last week’s game against the Green Bay Packers because of a left ankle injury, but returned late in that contest. He battled a stinger injury earlier in the season as well. NFL Network insiders Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo report that Johnson is expected to miss four to six weeks.
Johnson is a six-time Pro Bowl selection and has started every game for the Eagles (8-2) this season.
