A 71-year-old Bergen County man has been arrested on accusations that he sexually assaulted a child for more than two years.

Imri Osmani, of Little Ferry, is accused of digitally penetrating the victim's vagina when she was less than 13 years old, touching her thighs and buttocks over her clothing, and forcing her to watch pornography on his phone, according to a criminal complaint obtained by Daily Voice.

He was arrested with help from Homeland Security Investigations, the Port Authority Police Department of NY & NJ, and United States Customs and Border Protection agents, on Sunday, Nov. 16 at Newark Airport, authorities confirmed.

Osmani was charged with aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault, and endangering the welfare of a child, following an investigation into a report that he sexually assaulted a child in the past, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said.

He was remanded to the Bergen County Jail pending a detention hearing in Bergen County Superior Court in Hackensack.
