A much-loved Edinburgh bakery chain has announced the sudden closure of their first ever café .
Mimi's Bakehouse, one of the city's most popular independent bakery cafés, has revealed that they will be closing their Leith location on Sunday, November 23.
It marks a whole new chapter for the family run business. Their Leith site, which opened in 2010, was their first café and has gone strong for 15 years.
Named after Founder Michelle ‘Mimi’ Phillips, Mimi’s Bakehouse has grown over the past decade and a half into one of the city’s most recognisable hospitality brands, celebrated for its indulgent bakes, afternoon tea and friendly staff.
