A popular light display trail at Edinburgh Zoo has returned after a six-year break.

Organisers have described the beloved event as "bigger, brighter, and bolder than ever before", reports The Daily Record.

The Edinburgh Zoo’s Giant Lanterns officially opened on Thursday, November 13 and will remain open to visitors until February 22, 2026.

Featuring towering illuminated sculptures and intricate light displays, this year's experience has an aquatic theme, taking visitors on a journey into the deep and featuring marine wildlife, legendary sea creatures, and ocean mysteries.
