The Iron Bowl is being held this season at Jordan-Hare Stadium in a game that the Alabama Crimson Tide is likely now going to need to win in order to make the SEC Championship game and College Football Playoff after falling to Oklahoma this past weekend.
That goal for Alabama might have just gotten even tougher with the announcement of kickoff time.
For the first time since 2014, the historic rivalry is going to kick off under the lights at 6:30 p.m. CST rather than the usual 2:30 p.m. CST that fans have become accustomed to.
