Three people have been arrested after an Orange County woman lured a victim into a car where he was robbed at gunpoint in Rockland County, police announced.

Police learned of the incident at around 1:30 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 15, when troopers responded to a report of an armed robbery on the northbound Palisades Interstate Parkway near Exit 10 in New City, New York State Police said on Monday, Nov. 17.

According to investigators, the 21-year-old victim told troopers he had just left The Bridge Sports Bar & Lounge at 94 Main St. in Nyack with a woman he met inside, later identified as Jordyn M. Casserly, age 22, of Monroe. Casserly convinced him they were heading to her home, police said.

A 2023 Honda then pulled up outside the bar. The victim believed it was a rideshare vehicle sent to pick them up, police said. Once inside, he saw two men already in the car. He sat in the backseat next to one of them while Casserly took the front passenger seat. The driver was later identified as Jason Butler, age 25, of Wurtsboro, according to authorities.

During the ride, the man sitting next to the victim, identified as Kyle J. Youngberg, age 38, of Middletown, allegedly pulled out a gun and robbed the victim at gunpoint, State Police said.

The suspects then released the victim on the Parkway near Exit 10 and drove off.

Troopers issued an alert for the car, and a short time later, the suspects were located in Wallkill. Troopers conducted what they called a high-risk traffic stop on Derby Road, and all three were taken into custody without incident.

All three suspects were charged in Rockland County with first-degree robbery and fourth-degree conspiracy. Youngberg also faces a charge of second-degree menacing.

Police added that the trio was also charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance after troopers found drugs during the traffic stop. The three were issued appearance tickets for the Town of Wallkill Court on the drug charges.

On Sunday, Nov. 16, all three suspects were arraigned in Clarkstown Town Court, where a judge ordered them held at the Rockland County Jail on $75,000 cash bail, $150,000 bond, or $300,000 partially secured bond.

An order of protection was issued for the victim.

The investigation is continuing, State Police said.
