KALAMAZOO, MI — Panda Express will officially open the doors of its second Kalamazoo County location on Tuesday, Nov. 18.

Built at 4300 W. Main St. in Kalamazoo, the 2,700-square-foot restaurant showcases Panda Express’ new “distinctly American-Chinese, Panda Home design.”

Inside, there are nods to traditional Chinese architecture like red lanterns, a moon gate portal and vibrant Chinatown signs.

Outside, guests will benefit from a convenient drive-thru.

A grand opening community celebration at the new location will kick off at 10 a.m. Nov. 18, with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The first 88 guests in line will receive a free Panda Express t-shirt and children will also receive a free Panda Express headband, spokesperson Brittany Rouse said.
