SNOHOMISH COUNTY, Wash — Three Snohomish County sheriff’s deputies are being credited with saving a 68-year-old man from a burning pickup truck Nov. 13 on Highway 2 near Monroe.
The deputies were responding to a 911 call reporting that a Ford F-150 was ramming the back of an SUV, according to a Facebook post by the Snohomish County Sheriff's Office. When deputies arrived, they learned the driver of the truck was having a medical emergency behind the wheel.
Deputies used fire extinguishers to slow the spread of the fire that had ignited at the back of the truck, and got the driver out.
