BRACEVILLE TWP., Ohio - Trumbull County 911 dispatch received several calls on Friday night about an older white male walking along Route 534 in Braceville Township and stopping cars while holding a pistol.
One caller reported that the man threatened to shoot himself and urged others to call 911 because he was about to do it. Another caller mentioned seeing him sitting by the side of the road with the gun pointed at his head.
When police arrived, they allegedly found the man on the ground, and shortly afterward, shots were fired.
The manager of a Doll Lumber Company, Eric Doll, mentioned that the shooting took place right in front of the company's property.
