AUGUSTA, Maine — State Rep. Laurel Libby is charting a new course in her political career, but the Republican representing Auburn won’t be running for Congress or governor next year.

Libby, 44, has decided not to seek re-election to the Maine House of Representatives after three terms. She could have served one more before term limits set in.
