COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) - The Texas A&M University campus has been posted on Instagram 1.5 million times this year, earning it the honor of being one of the top-photographed universities in the country.

Texas A&M University ranks seventh among the most Instagram-friendly universities in the country, according to a recent survey by covers.com .

The ranking was determined by analyzing hashtag usage across university social media accounts.

James Bisson, editor-in-chief of covers.com, said the research primarily looked at which student bodies have been most active at providing hashtags.

“That’s the easiest way for us to track which schools are showing up at the top of these lists,” Bisson said.
