OHKAY OWINGEH, N.M. —

New Mexico State Police have arrested a shooting suspect after a man was shot and killed outside the Ohkay Owingeh Casino.

Deputies with the Rio Arriba County Sheriff's Office responded to a male shooting victim in the casino parking lot just after midnight on Saturday, Nov. 15. State police responded to assist with the investigation.

State police said its early investigation found two 21-year-old men, identified as Gerald Trujillo and Elias Tiberi, were seen inside a vehicle consuming illegal narcotics. A third unidentified person was also with the two outside the vehicle.
