Cops believe a woman who vied to be Donald Trump's press secretary and her fiancé who are wanted over an alleged racial assault in London have "left the UK".

The couple - named as Philip Ostermann and Melissa Rein Lively - left the country before the British Transport Police published its appeal last week, the force confirmed today. Mr Ostermann, who is associate director of a Munich-based private equity firm called Aequita, is believed to have departed Britain on October 14.
