NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - One person was hurt after a helicopter made a “hard landing” in Middle Tennessee last week, according to the director of the Putnam County Emergency Management Agency.
The incident happened Friday night when a tour helicopter was returning from taking a group to view Christmas lights at the fairground. The EMA director emphasized that it was a “hard landing” and not a crash.
The director said one person went to the hospital after complaining of back pain, but no other injuries were reported.
The number of people on board is unclear. WSMV is working to learn more.
