NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - Vanderbilt LifeFlight has announced it has been on a safety stand down since the deadly helicopter crash earlier in November.
“Safety is our top priority. No one will board an aircraft until we are fully ready,” the emergency rescue service said.
" Out of an abundance of caution, we have been on a safety stand down since Nov. 8 for all flight operations and have been holding crew debriefings."
The service is working through the next steps to ensure its return to the skies will be safe and full of confidence.
