Two juveniles were arrested after police responded to multiple calls reporting attempted car break-ins in Southington early Monday morning.

The Southington Police Department received several calls from residents in the area of Flanders Road around 3:41 a.m. on Monday reporting individuals allegedly attempting to break into parked vehicles in residential driveways, according to police.

Arriving officers allegedly observed two suspicious vehicles that appeared to be traveling together. One of the vehicles, a silver Hyundai Sonata, had no registration plates in the front or rear of the vehicle. The driver, who police said was wearing a black ski mask, allegedly turned off the vehicle’s lights and began to drive in a reckless manner in an apparent effort to elude Officers, police said.
