SAVAGE, Minn. — Newly released court documents are shedding more light on the Savage Police Department's investigation now honing in on a daycare employee who was the last person to care an infant that died and another infant who also had medical issues, but survived.

Police were called to Rocking Horse Ranch daycare on Sept. 22 after staff found an 11-month-old boy unresponsive in his crib. First responders attempted lifesaving measures, and he was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead, just five days shy of his first birthday.

The Savage Police Department says this is an open investigation and has no comment, but a search warrant recently filed details new information about the case.
