HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) - During the past two weeks, a white bar has stretched across the screen at Marshall’s Joan C. Edwards stadium during football games.

This is not the first time the scoreboard at the “Joan” has had an obstruction. In September , a black bar stretched across the screen for weeks. There were also issues with the scoreboards at Marshall’s soccer and baseball stadiums.

In October, a spokesperson for Marshall athletics told WSAZ that the issue had been resolved.

WSAZ reached back out to Marshall to ask: if this is a new issue, what they are doing to resolve the issue, and why obstructions keep happening?

Marshall has not yet responded to our questions.
