Shanoyd White Jr. has been arrested in connection with the murder of TikTok star Maurice Harrison , 21, known by her handle Girlalala .

According to a statement shared by the Broward’s Sheriff’s Office, authorities in Lauderdale Lakes, Fla. found Maurice in the passenger seat of a car “suffering from gunshot wounds.” She was taken to a nearby medical center where the hairstylist was later pronounced dead on November 14.

People reports that her boyfriend Shanoyd was arrested on the same day “for first-degree murder with a firearm” and is currently being held without bond.
