GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — A man is facing murder charges after a suspicious death investigation in Gwinnett County.

Gwinnett County Police said 32-year-old Marisol Ballestas Brochero was found dead on Friday afternoon. On Monday, the police department announced charges against 34-year-old Fabricio Cerchiaro Pinto.

Cpl. Angela Carter said around 12:20 p.m., officers were called out to the 1600 block of Graves Road to respond to an apartment complex where the woman was found dead. A 911 call was placed by a family member, she said.

"Inside the apartment in which officers were dispatched to, they located a deceased female inside," Carter explained.
