APOPKA, Fla. – The race for Apopka mayor is getting more crowded as Nick Nesta, a city commissioner in Apopka, announced his candidacy on Monday.

“Apopka is a remarkable city with incredible potential,” Nesta said. “But to protect that potential, we need leadership that puts residents first, manages growth responsibly, and ensures city hall operates efficiently and openly for everyone.”

Christine Moore, an Orange County commissioner and former school board member
