LAFAYETTE, Ind.(WLFI) - According to the Wabash Center, more than 3,500 children in the Lafayette community are living with special needs.
Grant's House within the Wabash Center is already helping 20 kids with autism and hundreds more with other special needs. Grant's House specializes in children and young adults as they grow, teaching them practical skills in a way that works best for their personal learning styles.
But with 25 kids on the waiting list for the applied behavior analysis clinic, it's time to expand.
"We've been doing this for a really long time, and we really feel like this is our opportunity to create a really unique, cutting edge, state-of-the -art autism clinic," said President and CEO of the Wabash Center, Jason McManus.
