MASON CITY, Iowa — South Monroe Avenue will be closed between the two 15th Street Southwest intersections starting Wednesday for about three days.

The closure allows Union Pacific Railroad to replace the rail crossing and a city contractor to mill and resurface the adjacent pavement.
