BIG RAPIDS- The Ferris State University volleyball team clinched its 19th Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Regular Season Championship by defeating the University of Wisconsin-Parkside in straight sets on Saturday.
With this victory, Ferris State concluded the regular season tied for first place with Wayne State University and secured the top seed for the upcoming conference tournament.
The Bulldogs showcased their dominance with a .284 hitting percentage and recorded 53 digs, while effectively limiting the Rangers to a .076 hitting percentage. Gabby Piazza played a crucial role with multiple kills, and Hayley Wegener provided key assists throughout the match.
