BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - One person was taken to the hospital after an incident in Bangor Monday.

Bangor Police say around 2:30 p.m. they learned of a person suffering from lacerations in a couple different spots on their body.

Officers were called to the woods off of Venture Way, right next to the former Camp Hope homeless encampment.

The person with the cuts was taken to a hospital to get those treated.

Now investigators are trying to piece together what happened.

“There are evidence technicians and detectives in the scene, processing the scene and interviewing witnesses to try to figure out exactly what happened,” said Sgt. Jason McAmbley, PIO, Bangor Police Department,

According to Bangor Police, no one is in custody.
