In the space of 4 games, the 18-year-old went from 8 points for the season to 15. Which helped fuel Portland’s extremely successful weekend, and just missed a week where they knocked off two of the Western Hockey League’s top three teams.

He also had impact goals: the tying and go-ahead goals against Wenatchee, a massive tying goal against Everett, and then also had the only goal in the shootout win over Everett.
