JEFFERSON, Wis. (WKOW) -- The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office is welcoming a new K-9. K-9 Kingsley will help fight internet crimes against children by sniffing out hidden electronic devices. She can find items like flash drives and micro SD cards, leading investigators to crucial evidence. Kingsley is electronic storage detection certified.
Detective Ryan Viney will handle Kingsley's training and daily care.
The Sheriff's Office says the acquisition of Kingsley was made possible by the generosity of community member Mabel Schumacher.
