MADISON (WKOW) -- Festive lights are now up at the Overture Center in Madison, marking the start of the holiday show season.

Crews began untangling and hanging thousands of strands at 7 a.m. Monday, decorating the rotunda at the main entrance and the lobby windows.

The lights can be seen from State Street, whether driving or walking by.

The holiday season at the Overture features performances including The Nutcracker and A Christmas Carol.
