City leaders in Louisville are collaborating to address youth violence, with 14% of shooting victims aged 11 to 17, emphasizing joint efforts as the best strategy to reduce violence further. The League of Women Voters hosted a panel where city leaders discussed how joint efforts are crucial in reducing youth violence.

Paula Hahnert, a member, said, "I certainly wasn't aware of that joint effort at some of these things, especially. And then, especially the group violence intervention that was very eye-opening to me."
