NORFOLK, Va. — Old Dominion football has caught fire at the perfect time. After dropping two straight, the Monarchs have reeled off three consecutive wins and head into Saturday’s regular-season finale at Georgia Southern playing their best football of the year.

That was on full display last week when ODU delivered one of its most complete performances of the season — a 33-0 domination of Troy in front of a national audience.

Head coach Ricky Rahne praised the effort, especially in key situations. “ We won the third down battle… there were a lot of good things in that game,” Rahne said. “We certainly played a complete game.”
