Scotland’s men are just 90 minutes away from reaching a World Cup finals for the first time in almost three decades.

Denmark are the visitors to Glasgow’s southside on Tuesday for a seismic match at Hampden Park.

The equation facing Steve Clarke’s side is simple – only a win will do to secure an automatic place at next summer’s showpiece in the United States, Canada and Mexico.

The last time Scotland’s men graced such a stage was at France 98, when the nation featured in the tournament’s opening match against Brazil in Paris.
